Community Garden

Community Garden

In 2010, we began a community garden in Rideauview Park directly behind Debra Dynes Family House. This initiative began to combat this problem and provide free, fresh produce to residents in the community. Our community garden currently has 36 raised beds and is used communally. If residents need herbs, lettuce, etc. for dinner that night, they are welcome to pick some from a mature plant. Anything that is not harvested by residents, volunteers and staff harvest, bag, and distribute through our food bank.
